On May 24, the "Fujian Daily" published the full text of the "Opinions on Further Deepening the Reform of the Medical and Health System" issued by the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the People's Government of Fujian Province on May 18, with a total of 27 opinions in seven items. Among them, it is clear: to optimize the procurement and use mechanism of pharmaceuticals and consumables; to improve the prescription circulation mechanism of medical institutions and retail pharmacies; to achieve full coverage of DRG three-level public general hospitals, and at the same time, to promote the dynamic adjustment of medical service prices in various regions.

It also clarified that the municipal and county-level disease prevention and control bureaus will be set up by relying on the health departments at the same level. Therefore, Fujian has become the first province to announce the overall framework for the establishment of the provincial, city, and county disease control bureaus since the listing of the National Disease Control and Prevention Bureau on May 13.
